Moa Life Plus Opens Flagship Store on China’s TikTok to Target 10 Trillion KRW Cosmetics Market

Moa Life Plus announced on July 10 that its K-bio-based in-house skincare brand 'DOCTORS PGA' has opened an official brand flagship store on Douyin (TikTok), the largest live commerce platform in China, and completed its first live broadcast at the end of June.


'DOCTORS PGA' uses the patented ingredient PGA, which can attract up to 5,000 times its own weight in moisture, as its main component. With the recent renewal launch of four core products (mask pack, ampoule, smoothing cream, wrinkle cream), the brand is accelerating its entry into the Chinese market. Starting with its official store on Douyin, it is expanding its connection points with local consumers.


Recently, the live commerce market in China, centered on Douyin, has been growing rapidly, and the annual transaction volume of the overseas cosmetics category has reached approximately 10 trillion KRW. Moa Life Plus has been planning a strategic entry in line with this trend, and this store opening marks the first official brand launch of DOCTORS PGA in the Chinese market.


The global healthcare company Moa Life Plus has previously applied PGA-related technology in various fields, including new drug development, individually recognized health functional foods for immune enhancement, and functional cosmetics. In the cosmetics sector, in addition to its own brand 'DOCTORS PGA', the company is also accelerating its global market expansion through the 'BEYUL' brand, which is being exported to Southeast Asian markets.


A Moa Life Plus representative stated, "The entry of DOCTORS PGA into Douyin is more than just a distribution expansion; it is the first stage where we can directly introduce our brand, based on biotechnology, to Chinese consumers." The representative added, "Ahead of China's largest shopping festival, Singles' Day, we plan to actively expand sales through live commerce."
