Free Installation of Safety Support Bars for Workers
Recognition for Achievements Including In-House Development of Customized Safety Helmets

Hyundai Glovis was selected as the top company for its efforts in preventing accidents and ensuring safety for its partners at industrial sites, and received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award.

On July 10, Hyundai Glovis announced that it had participated in the "2025 Best Practices for Safety and Health Cooperation between Large and Small Companies" presentation event and received the top prize, the Minister of Employment and Labor Award. This event was organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and hosted by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to mark July as Industrial Safety and Health Month.

Hyundai Glovis introduced its win-win initiatives to enhance the safety capabilities of its partner companies. At the beginning of each year, the company establishes its safety, health, and environment management policy and works to instill a safety mindset at logistics sites nationwide. This year, Hyundai Glovis especially emphasized the message that "cooperation and mutual growth with partners is at the core of the company's safety policy."

Hyundai Glovis operates the "Glogalgyeyo" program, a customized on-site safety consulting service, recognizing that each partner company faces different on-site conditions. Safety and health managers visit the sites to provide one-on-one tailored safety information, helping partners improve their safety capabilities.

Since 2021, Hyundai Glovis has been providing free support for the installation of safety support bars on the sides of cargo beds in car carrier trucks to prevent falls during vehicle loading and unloading operations. This year, the company developed and is assisting with the installation of a second-generation safety railing with improved step integration.

Hyundai Glovis also developed and distributed a safety helmet customized for cargo truck drivers, which is lighter and more compact than existing products. The company began developing the new model in response to feedback from workers who experienced discomfort due to the weight of conventional helmets, especially in situations where they had to put them on and take them off multiple times. The newly developed helmet is 16% smaller in volume and 14% lighter than previous models, and it has passed the safety certification review of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.

A Hyundai Glovis representative stated, "The safety of our partners is the safety of Hyundai Glovis," and added, "We will achieve mutual growth through active safety, health, and environment cooperation activities with our partners and other stakeholders."
