"Over 500 km on a Single Charge" Woojin Industrial Systems Unveils New Electric Bus

Woojin Industrial Systems exhibited the Apollo1200, a 12-meter high-floor premium electric bus with seating, at the 2025 International e-Mobility Expo, which opened on July 9. The company explained that the bus uses Samsung SDI batteries and can travel over 500 kilometers on a single charge.

The Apollo1100 electric bus, which was unveiled alongside, features dual doors. The doors are controlled based on GPS data. For passenger safety, the operation status is displayed on the dashboard and indicator lights, and the bus is equipped with both malfunction prevention and emergency manual control functions. The K-Tram, a 100% low-floor electric articulated bus designed to improve accessibility for passengers with mobility challenges, was also showcased during the event. This dual-door electric articulated bus is optimized for Super BRT systems, utilizing dedicated roads, advanced bus stops, and specialized operational systems.


The company also introduced Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology during the event, which positions electric vehicles as key elements of smart power grids. This technology enables the use of the large-capacity batteries in electric vehicles to supply energy to the grid and manage demand. The company explained that this feature is useful not only for outdoor activities such as camping, but also in emergency situations.
