The Korea Tourism Organization announced on July 9 that it has launched a travel package called "Travel to Korea with K-Cheerleaders" in collaboration with cheerleaders Lee Dahye and Lee Ayoung, who are enjoying explosive popularity in Taiwan.

This travel package offers a tour of Busan and Jeonju with cheerleaders Lee Dahye and Lee Ayoung. Since mid-May, the two cheerleaders have been at the forefront of promoting this Korea-bound travel product. As a result, as of early July, more than 1,200 people have already purchased the package, and it is expected that over 2,000 Taiwanese tourists will visit Korea by the end of this year.

The Korea Tourism Organization stated that, reflecting the recent high interest in ESG-related travel in Taiwan, it planned and developed this eco-friendly travel package in partnership with Lion Travel, a leading Taiwanese travel agency.

On this day, cheerleader Lee Ayoung carried out a beach cleanup activity with about 90 Taiwanese tourists at Haeundae Beach in Busan, and held a fan meeting in the afternoon. To encourage eco-friendly travel practices, tourists were provided with Starbucks tumblers.

On August 18, cheerleader Lee Dahye is scheduled to enjoy a Jeonju Bibimbap-making experience and a walk through Jeonju Hanok Village with Taiwanese tourists in her hometown of Jeonju. This event, held in cooperation with Cola Tour, the top seller of Korea travel packages in Taiwan, is expected to attract more than 100 Taiwanese tourists.

Hosoo Young, head of the Taipei office of the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "In addition to this cheerleader package, we are launching a series of travel products such as watching Korean professional baseball games, regional festivals like Haman Nakhwa Nori, and ESG-related packages. The local travel industry is paying attention to the emergence of various Korea-bound tourism products," adding, "This K-Cheerleader package will once again invigorate both the Korea-bound tourism market and regional tourism."
