283.8 Million Hours Watched Last Week
'Squid Game' Season 3 remained the most-watched show on Netflix for the second week after its release.
According to Netflix's official site Tudum's 'Netflix Top 10' on July 9, total viewing hours for the week of June 30 to July 6 reached 283.8 million. The number of views was 46.3 million, the highest not only among non-English shows but also across all English-language and non-English-language shows and films.
By country, 'Squid Game' Season 3 ranked No. 1 in the non-English show category in all 93 countries where the 'Top 10' is tracked. Following its record-setting debut week, when it topped the charts in every country for the first time ever, it maintained this achievement last week as well. 'Squid Game' Season 3 is the only title to have achieved the No. 1 spot in all 93 countries for two consecutive weeks.
Riding on the popularity of Season 3, both Season 2 and the original Season 1 released in 2021 also climbed the rankings in the non-English show category, reaching No. 2 (4.9 million views) and No. 3 (3.8 million views), respectively. However, last week's view count for Season 3 was about 13.8 million lower than its debut week (June 27-30, 60.1 million). It also fell short of Season 2's all-time high of 68 million views.
