Gokseong County (County Governor Cho Sangrae) announced on the 9th that it held the Jeollanam-do Policy Vision Tour on the afternoon of the 8th at the Daetongmaru Hall of the Gokseong County Office.
The event was attended by Kim Youngrok, Governor of Jeonnam Province, Cho Sangrae, County Governor, and about 100 Gokseong residents. Participants exchanged opinions on local issues, shared the provincial government's vision and direction, and discussed key county policy matters.
The program included: an introduction to Gokseong County's four major future visions; a policy issues discussion; and a session to hear directly from residents. The event was structured based on future strategies developed by the Jeonnam Research Institute. In particular, some of the questions submitted in advance by residents were randomly selected on-site, and the governor answered them directly, receiving an enthusiastic response.
Governor Kim Youngrok said, "Gokseong is a jewel of Jeonnam, where ecology, culture, and gardens come together. I believe that policies must begin in the field to truly change residents' lives, and I will actively reflect the valuable voices I heard today in the provincial administration."
County Governor Cho Sangrae stated, "It was a very meaningful time for the province, the county, and residents to come together and discuss the future of the region. We will continue to work closely with Jeollanam-do to bring about real changes in the lives of our residents."
Meanwhile, the county plans to use this Policy Vision Tour as an opportunity to review key regional tasks centered on the four major future visions jointly developed with the Jeonnam Research Institute and to further expand communication with residents.
