Former President Yoon Sukyeol arrived at the Seoul Central District Court on July 9, 2025, to attend his second pretrial detention hearing.
Wearing a navy suit and a red tie, former President Yoon arrived at the courthouse at approximately 2:21 p.m. He was accompanied by his legal team, including attorney Kim Hongil.
He remained silent in response to reporters' questions, such as "How do you feel about facing detention again just four months after your release?", "Do you plan to make a statement in person today?", and "Do you still believe the special prosecutor's request for a warrant was excessive?"
The pretrial detention hearing for former President Yoon is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. in Courtroom 321 of the West Wing at the Seoul Central District Court, presided over by Judge Nam Sejin, who is in charge of warrants.
The hearing is expected to take a considerable amount of time, as former President Yoon's legal team is strongly denying the charges of obstruction of special official duties and abuse of authority obstructing the exercise of rights, which were brought by Special Prosecutor Cho Eunseok's team.
