On July 9, Coway announced the launch of its new product, the 'Icon Ice Water Purifier Standard,' which strengthens the core features of ice water purifiers, such as ice storage capacity, hygiene, and convenience, in anticipation of the summer peak season.
The new product maintains the compact size and design of Coway's flagship 'Icon Ice Water Purifier,' while expanding the ice storage capacity to enhance user convenience and practicality. With this launch, Coway plans to strengthen its lineup of ice water purifiers and improve its responsiveness in the market.
The 'Icon Ice Water Purifier Standard' is equipped with an ice storage compartment with a maximum capacity of 1.1 kg, the largest among Coway's household ice water purifiers. This is approximately 49% larger than the previous Icon Ice Water Purifier model.
The new product also efficiently improves ice-making performance to match the increased ice capacity. Featuring Coway's patented 'Dual Rapid Ice-Making Technology,' it produces fresh ice every 12 minutes and can make up to 600 pieces of ice per day, ensuring sufficient supply even during the summer.
User convenience features have also been enhanced. With the 'Smart One-Touch' function, users can easily dispense a set amount of ice with a single button press, and it also supports simultaneous dispensing of ice and water. In addition, users can customize settings such as ice size, dispensing volume, and hot or cold water temperature to their preference.
Hygiene management functions have been upgraded as well. The '7-Stage UV Sterilization' feature is applied to every stage where ice is produced and dispensed?including the ice tray, ice storage compartment, ice outlet, and the ice and water dispensing faucet?ensuring hygienic ice. Additionally, an automatic high-temperature water sterilization function is applied to the ice-making section for double-layered hygiene management.
