Miryang City Holds 'Integrity Talk Concert with the Mayor'

Miryang City in South Gyeongsang Province held an 'Integrity Talk Concert with the Mayor' for all employees at the city hall's main auditorium.

The event, which took place on July 8, was attended by over 300 people, including Mayor Ahn Byunggu, senior officials, and newly appointed employees.

The program began with an integrity-themed video designed to spark interest in integrity, followed by a pansori performance. Participants then engaged in an open discussion on integrity, sharing ideas and discussing ways to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.

In particular, the event broke away from traditional lecture-style integrity training. Instead, the mayor and staff members took the stage together for a participatory format, engaging in real-time communication and discussion on organizational culture and integrity. This approach received an enthusiastic response from employees.

Mayor Ahn Byunggu emphasized, "Integrity is the most fundamental value for all public officials and a promise to our citizens," adding, "I will work to establish a genuine culture of integrity through active communication with all staff members."

Meanwhile, the city plans to continue promoting a culture of integrity through various programs, including integrity communication meetings, the Integrity Imagination Radio broadcast, and anti-corruption campaigns.
