The Chungnam Office of Education announced on July 9 that it will conduct on-site training for Student Conflict Integrated Support at 57 institutions?including 48 schools and 9 city and county education support offices?by the end of November, ahead of the full implementation of Student Conflict Integrated Support in March next year.
This initiative aims to enhance the understanding of the Student Conflict Integrated Support policy among members of the educational field, foster an organizational culture of communication and collaboration, and thereby promote the stable establishment and widespread adoption of the integrated support system for students.
The training, which began on July 1 at Seocheon High School and Hongseong Technical High School, is delivered by teams of two instructors who visit the 48 schools and 9 education support offices that have expressed interest in participating. The program is experience-based. The instructors consist of 15 individuals with extensive experience in the educational field, including former and current principals, education professionals, teachers, and education welfare officers, all of whom have been trained as professional instructors for Student Conflict Integrated Support by the Ministry of Education.
Yang Eunju, Director of Early Childhood Education and Welfare, stated, "With the number of students declining due to low birth rates, the number of students in need of help due to complex issues is rapidly increasing. We expect that the Student Conflict Integrated Support system, which takes into account each student's individual circumstances, will become a new alternative for resolving the multifaceted difficulties faced by students at risk." She added, "Through this training, we hope to further enhance members' understanding and expertise regarding the policy, strengthen integrated support capabilities, and ensure that the Student Conflict Integrated Support system takes firm root in all educational institutions next year."
