Hamyang County to Launch Additional 2025 Small Business Support Program

Support for Small Business Management Environment Improvement
and Digital Infrastructure

Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on July 9 that it will launch an additional '2025 Small Business Support Program' to help stabilize the operations of small business owners struggling due to the economic downturn.

The support program includes management environment improvement for 30 small businesses and digital infrastructure support for 3 businesses, with a total budget of 66 million won. The program targets small business owners who have been operating in Hamyang County for at least six months as of the announcement date (July 7, 2025). Each business can receive up to 2 million won (70% of the supply price) in support.

Eligible items for the management environment improvement support include interior renovations, signage, and standing tables. However, capital goods such as computers, TVs, and refrigerators, as well as improvements to shared restrooms in buildings, are excluded from the support. The digital infrastructure support program covers the purchase of digital devices such as kiosks, table order systems, smart order systems (QR, app, web-based, etc.), and POS (Point of Sale) devices.

The application period runs until July 18. Applications can be submitted in person or by mail to the Economic Affairs Division, Job and Economy Department, 4th floor of Hamyang County Office. An official from the county said, "We hope that this support program will provide practical help to small business owners facing management difficulties and reduce their operational cost burden."
