Hope Bridge Provides Summer Hygiene Kits to Vulnerable Groups

On July 9, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (President Song Pilho) announced that it will provide a total of 33,597 'Mind Shower Package' sets, worth approximately 3.3 billion KRW, to support personal hygiene management for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, persons with disabilities, and the homeless.

The 'Mind Shower Package' consists of nine types of hygiene products: body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower towel, soap, hand sanitizer, and an information leaflet. The package was prepared to help maintain a healthy daily life during the summer, when personal hygiene management is especially important, and to protect against heat waves and infectious diseases.

Hope Bridge held a support ceremony for the Mind Shower Package at the site of the 40th National Welfare Conference for Persons with Developmental Disabilities, which was held in celebration of the 'Day of Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.' Through this support ceremony, 13,072 kits will be provided to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities nationwide, and the remaining packages will be distributed sequentially to disaster-vulnerable groups through welfare organizations and related institutions across the country.

Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, stated, "We hope this support will be of at least some help in personal hygiene management," and added, "We will continue to expand support tailored to the needs of disaster-vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, in the future."
