Daegu Shinsegae Department Store Gives Gifts Worth 15.6 Million Won to 620 Children at Dong-gu Local Children's Centers

Daegu Shinsegae Department Store (CEO Kim Eun) delivered a donation worth 15.6 million won to Dong-gu Office in Daegu (headed by Mayor Yoon Seokjun) on July 8, requesting that it be used to support children from vulnerable groups in the local community.

The donation will be provided as "vacation outing gifts" in the form of trampoline park session tickets to 620 children at 26 local children's centers in Dong-gu.

Daegu Shinsegae Department Store donated 15.6 million won, after which Woo Byungun, Head of Social Contribution Team at Daegu Shinsegae Department Store (right), and Park Yongsik, Manager of Social Contribution Team (second from right), took a commemorative photo with Jeong Ui-gwan, Deputy Mayor of Dong-gu Office, Daegu City (center).

CEO Kim Eun stated, "We decided to make this donation to help create joyful and meaningful memories for children and, furthermore, to encourage society as a whole to protect the rights and happiness of children together."

We will pay special attention to ensure that children in our community are not marginalized and can grow up healthy."
