On July 8, Lee Ho-hyun, the Second Vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, along with the heads of related power generation agencies, conducted an on-site inspection of the summer electricity supply preparations at the Sinyangjae Substation in Seocho-gu, Seoul. On this day, the daytime high in Seoul exceeded 36 degrees Celsius, marking the highest temperature recorded so far this year.
