Final Selection Includes Reward Leave and Performance Bonuses
Goryeong County (Governor Lee Namcheol) is implementing the "Goryeong County Residents' Recommendation System for Outstanding Public Officials in Active Administration" to promote a culture of proactive administration, and will be accepting recommendations from county residents until the 18th.
The eligible candidates include: ▲ public officials who have resolved conflicts among residents (mediation type), ▲ public officials who have proactively responded to new administrative demands, and ▲ public officials who have achieved tangible results that residents can feel (performance-driven type). The performance evaluation period is from July 2024 to June 2025, covering one year.
Recommendations can be submitted through the "Resident Participation" menu on the Goryeong County website. After downloading and completing the recommendation form, it can be submitted online. Both individuals and organizations are eligible to make recommendations.
The county plans to select outstanding public officials through a working-level review and deliberation by the Active Administration Committee. Selected officials will be granted various incentives, including the highest grade of performance-based bonuses, reward leave, and commendations.
A Goryeong County official stated, "By introducing a system where residents can directly recommend public officials, we aim to motivate the public sector voluntarily and establish a culture of proactive work."
