The Busan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will hold a vocational education and employment fair for students of specialized high schools and Meister high schools at BEXCO Exhibition Center II for two days from July 9 to July 10.

This event, titled "Dream Festa for Tomorrow's Job," is designed to provide career exploration and employment opportunities for students of vocational high schools, as well as information on vocational education for middle school students and parents.

The fair will feature 37 specialized and Meister high schools from the region, along with 26 companies including Busan Bank, Rotec, Park Hyatt, Samjin Food, and Wooridle Hospital, offering on-site interviews and recruitment consultations. To encourage participation from both students and parents, the event will be open until 8 p.m. on the first day and until 5 p.m. on the second day.

The venue is organized into several sections: recruitment, promotion, research, and career counseling. In the promotion section, a variety of exhibits will be presented, ranging from hands-on experiences with technology fields such as drones, 3D printing, robotics, and VR, to demonstrations in lifestyle occupations such as cooking, beauty, and pet care.

The research section will host policy forums, information sessions, and business workshops on vocational high schools, offering practical information for parents and middle school students. In the career counseling section, all 37 schools will operate individual booths to provide counseling on further education.

The opening ceremony and special performances will take place at BEXCO at 2 p.m. on July 9, featuring club performances by 21 specialized and Meister high schools, as well as invited musicians. A variety of performances are scheduled, including theater, Nanta, band, cheerleading, and fashion shows.

Kim Seokjun, Superintendent of the Busan Office of Education, stated, "This fair is a meaningful event that instills pride in vocational high school students and provides career exploration opportunities for young people. We will do our best to nurture technical talent tailored to the local industry through the system of employment first and further study later."
