Litco Completes Rehabilitation Proceedings... Embarks on New Leap as Environmental and Safety Specialist

Litco, an environmental and safety infrastructure specialist company led by CEO Park Jongwoon, announced on July 8 that it officially completed its rehabilitation proceedings as of July 4 and has begun operating as a normal business, based on a new foundation for growth.

Since its establishment in 1995, Litco has possessed specialized technological capabilities in the environmental and safety sectors, including air purification, air quality measurement, and integrated control systems. The company has supplied a variety of environment-based solutions, such as fine dust removal systems for subway stations using electric precipitators, and stack emission gas monitoring systems (TMS) for industrial sites like power plants.

In particular, its 'bi-directional electric precipitator' technology, applied to ventilation systems in urban railways and road tunnels, has received New Construction Technology Certification (No. 849) from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the company has consistently accumulated achievements in the domestic public infrastructure market.

After the commencement of rehabilitation proceedings in July last year, Litco swiftly implemented measures for attracting new investors and normalizing management, and as of July 4, received a decision from the Suwon Bankruptcy Court to terminate the rehabilitation process.

The company stated, "We are now prepared to leap forward as a stronger organization than before the rehabilitation, based on our existing technological competitiveness and trust-based customer network," and added, "We will further strengthen our ESG-based growth strategy in both domestic and international environmental and safety infrastructure markets going forward."

Looking ahead, Litco plans to accelerate new business initiatives, expand technology investment, and stabilize its organization, aiming to establish itself as a total solution provider for improving public and private infrastructure environments.
