Kanta aims to directly appeal to the sensibilities of Japanese users who are familiar with K-content by providing an immersive, high-quality video service. The platform will sequentially release new K-drama series every month. Next month, it will introduce 'Jeonjeadunoe Jeong Gwajang', starring comedian and actor Jung Junha and ATEEZ member Yunho.

Last year, Ridi became the first Korean company to be selected for the 'TSE Asia Startup Hub' hosted by the Tokyo Stock Exchange in Japan. Through the launch of Kanta, the company expects to further strengthen its competitiveness in the Japanese market.

Ridi CEO Bae Kisik said, "Ridi continues to evolve with the times by offering content formats such as web novels, webtoons, and now short dramas," adding, "Starting with the launch of Kanta, we plan to lead the influence of K-content in the short drama sector as well."
