The monthly purchase limit is 500,000 won, and the validity period is five years. It can be purchased through the mobile-only app Seoul Pay Plus (SeoulPay+), and used by scanning the QR code at affiliated Seoul Pay merchants within the district. The merchant transaction fee is 0%.

The "Gangdong Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate" can be used when ordering through the public delivery app "Ttaenggyeoyo," which offers a low 2% intermediary fee and three "no-fee" benefits (no entry fee, no monthly usage fee, and no advertising costs). In the first half of this year, the district issued 1 billion won worth of "Gangdong Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates." In the second half, Gangdong-gu plans to issue an additional 1 billion won in stages, bringing the total issuance for the year to 2 billion won.
Through the issuance of these gift certificates, the district expects to reduce the financial burden on residents by offering purchase discounts and a 30% income tax deduction benefit when using the certificates, while also supporting small business owners by reducing transaction fees and providing practical support. This is expected to stimulate local consumption and help stabilize the management of small businesses.
