The Budget and Accounts Special Committee of the Chungcheong Regional Council approved the second supplementary budget proposal for the Chungcheong Regional Council as originally submitted during the 5th extraordinary session.

Chairperson Koo Hyungseo stated, "The core of this supplementary budget is the inclusion of 25 million won in cooperative project funding according to the agreement with Hana Bank, and the allocation of 80 million won for a new project to support companies participating in the Future Mobility Expo." He emphasized, "It is essential to thoroughly promote the selection process to ensure that companies that do not receive support do not feel excluded." He further explained, "There may be companies that wished to participate but were not selected, or companies that did not receive information. Broadly informing companies of the application opportunities will prevent misunderstandings."

He also added, "Booths of companies participating in the expo with funding from the regional council budget must clearly display the Chungcheong Regional Council's name."

Assembly member Lee Hanyoung, regarding the budget for official overseas business trips, urged, "Since there have been recent controversies in similar cases, the travel expense regulations recommended by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission must be strictly followed to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings." This remark is interpreted as a reference to the overseas training of the Sejong City Council.

Chairperson Koo concluded the session by requesting, "The executive branch should implement the projects based on thorough preparation and systematic management to contribute to the development of future industries in the Chungcheong region and to strengthen the status of the regional council."
