On July 5, EcoPro held a 'DIY Wooden Desk and Chair Making Volunteer Activity' at the Gowoonkyeol Workshop in Pohang, with about 20 employees participating.

The employees who took part in this volunteer activity used domestically sourced, eco-friendly wood prepared at the workshop to assemble the desks and chairs without chemical agents. Each set consisted of one desk and four chairs, all made by hand.

Starting with the first session on July 5, EcoPro plans to have a total of about 60 employee volunteers participate in three sessions, continuing on July 12 and July 19.

EcoPro employees will produce eight sets of desks and chairs, including eight desks and 32 chairs (worth about 10 million won), and deliver them to eight local children's centers in Pohang, including Kkum Namu Regional Children's Center and Haemalgeun Regional Children's Center.

Since 2023, EcoPro has been collaborating with the Pohang Volunteer Center for three consecutive years to personally produce and deliver study desks and chairs to local children's centers, continuously supporting the improvement of learning environments for local children.

An EcoPro representative stated, "Every year, we make and deliver wooden desks and chairs to local children's centers so that children and teenagers living in the area can focus on their studies in a more comfortable environment," adding, "We will continue to carry out various activities to help create a society where underprivileged children in the region are not discriminated against."
