A Global Platform for Future Mobility Technologies, Policies, and Business Networking
Over 150 Companies from 50 Countries to Participate; More Than 30 Specialized Conferences Scheduled

The 12th International e-Mobility Expo will be held at Jeju Shinhwa World for four days starting from July 9. More than 150 domestic and international companies from 50 countries will participate, and over 30 specialized conferences and global business networking events are scheduled during the expo. The event aims to serve as a global platform encompassing technologies, policies, and expert analyses related to future mobility solutions, including electric vehicles, urban air mobility, and electric ships.

This year's expo is co-hosted by the International Electric Vehicle Expo Association and the Global EV Association Network (GEAN). It is supported by eight government ministries, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; the Ministry of Science and ICT; the Ministry of Environment; the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; as well as Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Attendees will be able to explore the industrial ecosystem that covers key parts and materials companies for electric vehicles, buses, two-wheelers, batteries, and chargers, as well as convergent technologies such as autonomous driving, robotics, smart agriculture, renewable energy, and UAM.

The conference program includes a pre-opening event held the day before the official opening, followed by the GEAN General Assembly, the Korea e-Mobility Export Base Declaration Ceremony, the opening ceremony, and a global summit on the first day. Additional events such as the Korea-Europe and Korea-Africa roundtables, the Green Energy Conference, and the International Youth Academic Conference are also planned. On July 10, sessions focused on market expansion strategies and innovative technologies will take place, including the Eco-Friendly Electric Ship Expo, the UAM and Drone Forum, and the International Business SRT Forum.

On July 11, the Global Battery Forum, the EV User Awareness Improvement Forum, the UAM Commercialization Promotion Forum, and citizen participation programs are scheduled. The demonstration plan for Jeju UAM infrastructure will also be unveiled. In addition, programs that facilitate tangible outcomes such as one-on-one investment and business matching for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, on-site demonstrations, and joint R&D and contract signings will be held. Experiential programs for youth and university students, such as the University Student Electric Vehicle Autonomous Driving Competition and the AI Drone Competition, are also included. There will also be a networking tour that covers Jeju's natural environment, culture, and industry.

During the expo, ambassadors, high-level officials, and experts from more than 10 countries around the world?including China, the United Kingdom, Italy, Norway, Hungary, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Qatar?are expected to attend. Kim Daehwan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said, "This event, nicknamed the 'Davos Forum of e-Mobility,' goes beyond showcasing the latest technologies to provide a convergent platform that encompasses policies, culture, and youth education. In the era of carbon neutrality and digital transformation, we will realize the future vision of the industry here in Jeju."

Meanwhile, the 2025 GEAN Awards, hosted by GEAN and organized by the International e-Mobility Expo, have selected Woojin Industrial Systems, a manufacturer of electric buses and trains; battery company CATL; and the Thailand Electric Vehicle Association as recipients. The awards recognize organizations and companies that lead carbon neutrality and contribute to the development of smart cities and the e-mobility industry. The award ceremony will be held on the opening day, July 9.
