Lotte Department Store Offers 270,000 KRW Gift Certificate for High-Efficiency Appliance Purchases Over 3 Million KRW

On July 8, Lotte Department Store announced that it will launch a promotion offering gift certificates to customers who purchase high-efficiency appliances, in line with the government’s High-Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program.

The High-Efficiency Appliance Rebate Program provides a refund of up to 10% of the purchase price (with a maximum of 300,000 KRW per individual) to consumers who buy top-rated energy-efficient appliances in 11 categories closely related to daily life, such as TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, and washing machines.

Lotte Department Store will also offer exclusive special rewards for high-efficiency appliances in the department store industry until July 31. Customers who purchase high-efficiency appliances from Samsung Electronics or LG Electronics for 3 million KRW or more using Lotte, Hyundai, or KB Kookmin cards will receive a Lotte gift certificate worth 270,000 KRW. Including the government’s 10% rebate, customers can receive total benefits of approximately 570,000 KRW.

Lotte Department Store is also introducing brand-specific benefits for high-efficiency appliances. At Samsung Electronics, customers purchasing promotional high-efficiency appliances can receive up to a 10% discount. At LG Electronics, customers who buy multiple items, including high-efficiency products, can receive gift certificates worth up to 5 million KRW. In addition, Miele is offering a one-year supply of Miele-exclusive detergent to customers who purchase high-efficiency washing machines, and Cuckoo is providing special gifts of appreciation to customers who buy high-efficiency electric rice cookers or air purifiers.
