SK AX Unveils AI Predictive Platform at Industrial Safety and Health Seminar

Introducing AI-Based Innovation Strategies for Industrial Sites

SK AX Unveils AI Predictive Platform at Industrial Safety and Health Seminar Keynote speech by Yoon Poongyoung, President of SK AX, Yonhap News

On July 7, SK AX announced that it will participate in the "Industrial Safety and Health Expert Seminar" hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency on July 9, where it will share AI-based innovation strategies for safety, health, and environment (SHE) in industrial sites.

This seminar, held as a side event to commemorate Industrial Safety Month in July, will feature direct participation from organizations and companies related to industrial safety and health, each conducting their own individual sessions.

On this day, SK AX will hold its own seminar under the theme "SHE AI Predictive Platform: Transforming the Industrial Safety Paradigm," where it will present real-world SHE innovation cases and technology application strategies currently operating in industrial sites.

The first presentation will be delivered by Lee Kangdon, Head of SHE DX at SK AX Accerton Partners, who will explain how SHE operations can be innovated through AX by introducing real-life examples such as AI autonomous flying drones, AI collaborative robot systems, and AI job risk assessments that have been implemented in industrial sites.

In the following presentation, Lee Junghoon, Head of the SHE Platform Development Team at SK AX, will introduce the AI-based SHE work platform, "iFACTS SHE." This platform integrates AI into all aspects of SHE operations in manufacturing sites?including safety work permits, incident management, process safety management (PSM), and chemical and environmental management?standardizing processes and focusing on increasing the speed of decision-making and response on site.

SK Hynix and the Korea Association of Robot Industry will also participate in this seminar. SK Hynix will present its intelligent risk management system designed to secure the safety golden time and enable rapid response, while the Korea Association of Robot Industry will share cases of AI robot utilization in industrial sites.

Choi Jinmin, Managing Partner of SK AX Accerton Partners, stated, "SHE operations require high-risk control and legal and social responsibility, and involve high levels of difficulty and complexity due to the need for timeliness and accuracy as well as the processing of vast amounts of data. Through this seminar, participants will be able to see how we have addressed various SHE challenges and issues in the field through AX, and discover solutions for the direction companies should take going forward."
