Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, NYPC is introducing a new special university league, 'NYPC Code Battle,' to provide a foundation for the continued growth of participants. This is the first team-based strategic programming competition to be held in Korea. Participants will develop code to create the optimal strategy for victory in a given game environment, competing against other teams to test their problem-solving skills and teamwork.

The competition consists of an online round and a final round, with each round featuring one question that does not have a predetermined answer. The online round will take place from August 8 to August 18, and the top 20 teams will qualify for the final round, which will be held at the Nexon headquarters in Pangyo on October 25.

This league is open to undergraduate students at domestic and international universities, or anyone between the ages of 20 and 25. Teams can consist of one to four members. Applications can be submitted on the official website until August 18. Participants can also experience the competition problems in advance through the 'Code Battle: Campus League' online mini-game event.

NYPC 2025 targets youth interested in programming who are aged between 12 and 19. Applications can be submitted on the official NYPC website from July 7 to August 11.

NYPC 2025 Round 1 will be held online from August 7 to August 11, and participants who achieve a certain score will advance to the next round. Round 2 will take place online on August 17 and August 23 within a limited time frame. The NYPC 2025 finals will be held together with the 'NYPC Code Battle' final round at the Nexon headquarters in Pangyo on October 25.

Kim Jungwook, Chairman of the Nexon Foundation, said, "As this year's NYPC marks its 10th edition, we have prepared a variety of new challenges that both youth and university students can enjoy. We will do our utmost to ensure that participants can further grow as future talents by demonstrating creativity and collaborating with one another throughout the competition."

Meanwhile, Nexon has prepared various events to celebrate the 10th anniversary of NYPC. At 'NYPC 10th Anniversary Festa: Looking for NYPC,' special lectures and game events will be held for past winners and aspiring participants to highlight the value of 'challenge.' In addition, Nexon will operate the 'NYPC Goods Shop,' selling goods based on the competition's intellectual property, with all proceeds being donated.
