The Chungnam Office of Education announced on July 7 that it will hold the "Gwangbok Concert" at the Student Education and Culture Center of the Office of Education at 2 p.m. on July 11 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Liberation this year, reflect on the significance of liberation, and honor the dedication of independence activists.

The Gwangbok Concert, being prepared under the theme "Daehan Survived," is expected to be attended by approximately 900 people, including elementary, middle, and high school students, parents, faculty members, and representatives from historical and veterans' organizations in the province. The concert will feature songs from the Japanese colonial period that express the yearning for liberation, with a special focus on pieces that reflect the history of the independence movement in Chungnam. Students, parents, and faculty members will participate as performers, making it a distinctive event.

An official from the Office of Education stated, "We will ensure that the 'Daehan Survived' Gwangbok Concert is a meaningful and well-prepared event, serving as a historical venue where the Chungnam educational community can sing of hope and come together in unity."
