The National Heritage Center is also holding a video contest themed around national intangible heritage community categories. Community categories refer to intangible heritage that has been preserved by citizens and local communities together, without designating specific holders or organizations, such as Arirang, Kimchi-making, and Hanbok lifestyle. To enter the contest, participants must create and submit a video promoting community categories using the promotional song. Eight winning entries will be selected through expert evaluation and a public vote. The submission period runs from July 8 to August 25.
