The National Policy Planning Committee announced that it is considering incorporating public proposals related to delivery application (app) fees into national policy tasks.

Cho Seungrae, spokesperson for the National Policy Planning Committee, stated during a briefing held at the Changseong-dong Annex of the Government Complex Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 7th, "A total of 71 policy proposals (as of the 4th, cumulative count) submitted through the public communication platform 'Moduui Gwangjang' have been delivered to each subcommittee," adding, "We have received a response that four of these proposals are expected to be reflected in national policy tasks."


Spokesperson Cho explained that one of the four proposals is a policy suggestion aimed at easing the burden of delivery app fees. He further stated, "We received a response that efforts are being made to ensure the proposal to reduce the public's burden of delivery fees is reflected," and added, "It is still difficult to specify the remaining three proposals."


Meanwhile, regarding the Presidential Office's announcement that it received a government organizational restructuring plan from the National Policy Planning Committee on this day, Spokesperson Cho said, "The Chief Policy Officer of the Presidential Office is serving as the Vice Chair of the Committee, so continuous communication is taking place," and added, "Nothing has yet been decided regarding when the plan will be finalized or who will announce the finalized contents."


On the issue of prosecution reform, he said, "A meeting was held with lawmakers who proposed the 'Four Prosecution Reform Bills,'" adding, "It is my understanding that the party intends to accelerate the prosecution reform agenda. We are in close consultation with each other."
