First Large-Scale Unified Promotion Across East Asia
Lotte Asahi Liquor announced on July 7 that it has selected BLACKPINK as the brand ambassador for Asahi Super Dry and will launch a large-scale promotional campaign.
The Asahi Group explained that BLACKPINK was chosen as the ambassador to enhance brand awareness and generate buzz, as the group has a broad fan base not only in Korea and across Asia, but also in Europe and the United States. This is the first time Asahi Super Dry is conducting a unified promotion across all of East Asia.
Starting this month, Asahi Super Dry plans to roll out consumer campaigns and large-scale advertising activities in various countries. In Korea, TV commercials, digital ads, and outdoor advertising will be launched beginning in July. The company also plans to run a campaign this fall in which limited edition 'Asahi Super Dry × BLACKPINK' tumblers will be offered as prizes.
