Join the K-Food Pavilion at the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo The Secretariat of the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo is recruiting companies to participate in the K-Food Industry Pavilion and export consultation meeting, which are scheduled to operate at the expo venue, until the 31st.

The Secretariat of the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo announced on July 7 that it is recruiting companies to participate in the K-Food Industry Pavilion and export consultation meeting, which are scheduled to operate at the expo venue, until the 31st. This initiative aims to help food-related companies expand their sales channels and support their overseas market entry.

The K-Food Industry Pavilion will serve as a platform for industrial exchange, featuring exhibitions, sales, and promotions of outstanding products related to food tech, gourmet cuisine, and the food industry.

The recruitment categories are divided into three fields: food tech, K-Food, and gourmet professionals. Participation is organized into three sessions: the first session runs from October 1 to 12, the second from October 14 to 19, and the third from October 21 to 26.

Participating companies will be provided with a standard booth free of charge, while independent booths require a participation fee of 3 million won per booth (excluding VAT). Companies based in Jeonnam are eligible for a 50% discount on the participation fee.

The application deadline is the 31st, and the final selection of participating companies will be made through a screening process in August.

In addition, the Secretariat is also recruiting companies to participate in an export consultation meeting with overseas buyers, organized in cooperation with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), to help food companies develop overseas distribution channels.

Applications for the export consultation meeting are also open until the 31st, and participation is completely free of charge. Selected companies will be matched with overseas buyers in September and will participate in the consultation meeting held at the Mokpo Shinan Beach Hotel on October 20.

Detailed information regarding applications for the K-Food Industry Pavilion and the export consultation meeting can be found on the official expo website and the Jeonnam provincial website under the announcements section.

Hong Yanghyun, Secretary-General of the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo, stated, "I hope this expo will be a meaningful opportunity to promote the excellence of Namdo's gourmet cuisine and food industry, and to explore the possibilities of a sustainable gourmet industry together." He added, "We look forward to the active interest and participation of companies, institutions, and organizations related to the food industry, so that this event can become a venue for domestic and international gourmet industry exchange."

The 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo, under the theme "Namdo, a Table Set by Nature: The Future of a Sustainable Gourmet Industry," will be held from October 1 to 26 at the Mokpo Culture and Arts Center and surrounding areas.
