Hyundai Motor Group's valet parking technology video
Gains strong interest from prominent influencers
The video showcasing the "Kia EV3 Valet Parking Technology," created by Hyundai Motor Group using artificial intelligence (AI), is attracting significant global attention.
According to industry sources on July 6, this video, which depicts a service that moves customers' vehicles to designated locations and parks them automatically, was presented in a fast-paced style reminiscent of dancing with AI visuals. The video was first released on YouTube in October of last year. Starting in April, seven months after its release, the view count began to surge and has continued to spread since then.
After the video was featured in the Science Tech Engineering World community on the well-known American social platform Reddit, it spread worldwide and became a major piece of content on platforms such as Australia's automotive influencer Supercar Blondie, the US's Laughing Squid and Born in Space, Canadian influencer That Eric Alper, Times Brazil YouTube, Forbes Serbia, and Thailand's Khaosod, among other global media channels and influencer platforms.
Currently, the video has spread organically across more than 48 global media, community, and social networking channels, with the total accumulated views reaching 5.8 million.

Before releasing the video, Hyundai Motor Group had unveiled a technology video for its commercialized parking robot in June of last year. The parking robot consists of a pair of thin, wide robots that slide under the vehicle, lift its wheels, and move it freely.
The promotional impact was significant because, rather than generating virtual images through AI, the video integrated AI with actual existing technologies and services, adding a sense of substance and realism.
Viewers expressed both anticipation for the future of parking enabled by the parking robot technology and admiration and curiosity about the advancement of robotics. Of the total 2,736 comments, approximately 75% were positive, with most praising the technology, saying things like, "This is truly impressive technology," and "It's unbelievable that these small robots can move cars."
The parking robots featured in the video are currently being used in actual vehicle manufacturing processes at Hyundai Motor Group Meta Plant America (HMGMA) and the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICS).
A Hyundai Motor Group representative stated, "Based on the high level of interest and positive response from global media and consumers, we plan to continue developing innovative content utilizing AI technology."
