The WCDF is the world's most prestigious and largest country dance federation, first established in Europe. Hundreds of athletes, coaches, and federation officials from around the world gathered in one place and competed fiercely.

This year's competition saw participation from over 600 athletes, coaches, and federation officials representing 18 countries, including Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Thirty participants represented Korea.

Jang Jeongae qualified as a representative of Korea by winning at the preliminary round, which also served as the Korea Open Line Dance Championship, held on March 22 this year.

At the awards ceremony for first place at this competition, the Taegukgi was raised and the Korean national anthem was played in the arena, contributing to national prestige in the field of culture and arts. Jang is currently working as an instructor at the Pyeongsan-dong Resident Autonomy Center, striving to improve the welfare and health of local residents.

Jang Jeongae stated, "The results of years of dedication and hard work were fully rewarded when the national anthem was played at the competition," and added, "This is a remarkable achievement that proves the level of line dance in Korea is now the best in the world."
