Honam University announced on July 5 that it has actively embarked on expanding international exchanges with major universities in the Ankara region of Turkey, including launching the 'KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project' and establishing Sejong Institutes to promote Korean language education and culture.
Professor Yoon Young of the Department of Global Korean Language Education at Honam University recently visited Atılım University and held a meeting with Professor Park Jongi to discuss ways for Atılım University to participate in the 'Honam University KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project.'
On July 1, Professor Yoon also met with Professor Yoo Eunmi of Ankara University to share ideas for cooperation on the KF project. In addition, Professor Yoon visited Director Timur of the Turkish and Foreign Language Application and Research Centre at Ankara University to discuss the establishment of a Sejong Institute and the signing of an exchange agreement.
During the meeting with Director Timur at Ankara University, Professor Yoon held in-depth discussions on ways to promote academic and cultural exchanges between the two universities.
Meanwhile, since 2021, Honam University has been collaborating with universities in various countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, and China, through the 'KF Global e-School Korean Language Education Project' organized by the Korea Foundation (KF), providing Korean language courses via VOD (Video On Demand).
