Daecheon Beach will operate for 51 days, until August 24. To ensure the safety of visitors, Boryeong City has deployed up to 429 public officials and part-time workers per day.

Kkotji, Mongsanpo, and Mallipo beaches in Taean County also opened simultaneously. Taean County plans to support safe water activities by deploying 406 personnel and 77 rescue equipment units daily.

In Ulsan, more than 3,000 vacationers visited the city’s two beaches just in the morning. As of 11:00 a.m., 1,196 people had visited Ilsan Beach in Dong-gu, and 1,843 people had visited Jinha Beach in Ulju-gun.

Vacationers visiting the beaches spent their weekends cooling off from the heat in the sea with family, partners, and friends.

In Taebaek, Gangwon Province, Jeolgol Healing Campsite and Gowon Healing Campsite are set to newly open this month. These campsites are characterized by maximizing preservation of the natural environment while enhancing user convenience. Located in high-altitude areas, they offer a comfortable camping experience even in the middle of summer.

Taebaek City plans to further promote its image as a ‘camping city’ by holding backpacking events during the 10th Hangang·Nakdonggang Source Festival starting July 26.
