Cheongdo County (Governor Kim Hasu) visited related organizations and businesses within Cheongdo-eup on July 3 to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program and the Hometown Address Registration campaign, conducting various promotional activities for these initiatives.
This campaign aimed to provide information about the Hometown Love Donation Program, introduce return gifts made up of local specialty products, and encourage interest and participation in the local economy.

In particular, the campaign also promoted the "Hometown Address Registration" to employees with personal or family ties to Cheongdo, explaining how transferring their resident registration to Cheongdo County could provide practical financial support to the county.
The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments other than their place of residence.
Donations of up to 100,000 won are fully eligible for tax credits, and amounts exceeding this are eligible for a 16.5% tax credit.
Donors can also receive return gifts, such as local agricultural and specialty products, worth up to 30% of their donation amount. Donations can be made through the "Hometown Love e-Eum" website or at any Nonghyup branch nationwide.
Additionally, the "Hometown Address Registration" campaign encourages people who are originally from Cheongdo or have connections to the area to move or transfer their resident registration to Cheongdo County, thereby contributing to local revitalization and increasing the county's financial resources.
Individuals can complete the transfer by visiting the nearest eup or myeon Administrative Welfare Center or by filing a transfer report on the "Government24" website.
