On July 4, the Chungnam Office of Education signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in its conference room with the Cheonan and Boryeong branches of the Ministry of Employment and Labor to provide job opportunities and employment support services for vocational high school students in the province.
This agreement aims to help vocational high school students effectively respond to the changing employment environment and support their growth into outstanding local talent.
The main points of the agreement include: ▲ supporting the employment of graduates through the sharing of information and resources, ▲ providing tailored employment support and job competency enhancement for prospective graduates and graduates of vocational high schools, and ▲ making joint efforts to revitalize local employment.
Choi Jongsoo, head of the Cheonan branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, stated, "Through collaboration between employment centers and vocational high schools, we will actively support students and graduates of vocational high schools so that they can find employment through employment services even after graduation, in cooperation with the Chungnam Office of Education."
Kim Jicheol, Superintendent of Education, said, "This agreement is significant in that the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the provincial office of education have joined hands to provide practical employment opportunities for vocational high school students in the Chungnam region. We will continue to actively support vocational high school students in Chungnam so that they can find employment at excellent companies through close cooperation with related agencies."
