Two Performances at Seobitmaru Culture and Arts Center at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
On July 5, the Seo District of Gwangju will present the play "Becoming Acquainted" at the Seobitmaru Culture and Arts Center. This production was selected through the 2025 Performing Arts Regional Distribution Project competition organized by the Arts Management Support Center.
According to Seo District on July 4, this play is an official entry in the 45th Seoul Theater Festival. It is an omnibus-style production composed of three episodes, each telling the stories of people exploring the meaning of life through communication.
In particular, the play goes beyond simple encounters, depicting a journey toward "relationships built on understanding and empathy." It offers gentle comfort and small encouragement to those who struggle with relationships, delivering the message to the audience that "you, too, can become someone’s acquaintance."
