Personalized Profile Settings... Follow Specific Accounts Such as "Economic Influencers"
"Hot Posts" with High Views and Recommendations by Stock, Latest "Stock News" Features Added
Naver Pay (Npay) announced on July 4 that it has enhanced the community features of the Npay Securities Stock Discussion Board. New additions include personalized profile settings and the ability to follow investor profiles of interest.
Users can now create their own unique profiles, allowing them to express themselves more actively. They can follow profiles of users with similar investment tendencies, those who post interesting content, or Naver economic influencers, and conveniently view all posts from these profiles in one place. In particular, economic influencers are distinguished by a special badge displayed on their posts and comments.
The posting function has also been improved. Users can now insert a variety of stickers and stock charts, enabling them to express their opinions in more diverse ways.
A "Hot Posts" ranking feature has been added to each stock discussion board. Among posts that have received significant user engagement, five posts are displayed at the top after being monitored by AI-based malicious content detection systems such as "Cleanbot."
A new "Stock News" feature has been introduced to deliver the latest information related to each stock. Stock News appears as a profile account in the format "Stock Name+News" within each stock discussion board, such as "Naver News" or "Samsung Electronics News."
With the introduction of image attachment capabilities for posts in the discussion boards, Naver has implemented new AI-based filtering systems, including "Naver Green-Eye" for detecting explicit content and "DNA Filtering" for identifying illegal recordings and similar content. A "Report Profile" function has also been added. If a profile is reported for posting illegal or advertising content, it will be immediately reviewed and the reported user's profile will be reset.
Kang Soo-hyung, leader of the Npay Securities Service Team, commented, "With 16 million monthly users, the Npay Securities Service is the largest investment community in Korea. By strengthening its community features, we expect to further promote healthy discussions among investors," adding, "We will continue to advance the community features and monitoring of the stock discussion boards going forward."
