Lee & More Group (CEO Lee Taehun) announced on July 4 that it is supporting the growth of next-generation professional golfers by joining pro Kim Sunmi's social contribution and sponsorship activities for promising young athletes.
Kim Minjae, a third-year student at Jungsan High School who is sponsored by both the company and pro Kim Sunmi, achieved a total score of 1-over-par to finish 6th overall at the first KPGA (Korea Professional Golfers' Association) Tour Pro Test. As a result, he secured a spot in the final pro selection tournament, where only 50 players are chosen.
Although Kim Minjae started playing golf relatively late, in his first year of middle school compared to his peers, he has shown steady growth under the guidance of pro Kim Sunmi. In particular, he has distinguished himself by gaining experience in various competitions, including Seoul city and national middle and high school federation tournaments. Kim is currently continuing his training at DH Academy, located at the Nambu Practice Range operated by pro Park Deukhee.
Pro Kim Sunmi has built a solid career as a player, including winning the KLPGA Champions Tour prize money title for three consecutive years. She is also actively engaged in social contribution activities, such as providing free lessons and participating in sharing initiatives, while playing a leading role as a coach. Lee & More Group has been supporting Kim Sunmi's efforts in nurturing talent and giving back to the community for three consecutive years.
Lee & More Group, together with pro Kim Sunmi, is working to ensure that athletes receive practical support. KLPGA player Kim Chaeyoon also realized her dream of becoming a professional golfer through a sponsorship program partnered with Lee & More Group. Kim Chaeyoon finished 5th with a total score of 3-under-par at the second pro associate member test, earning her entry into the KLPGA. She is currently a first-year student at Korea Golf University and is training at the Flybee Academy under pro Park Eunhee.
