Major "K-Vacance" Events Planned
Hosted by KB Financial Group and Others, Organized by the Federation of Korean Industries
On July 4, KB Kookmin Card announced that it will be offering major water park discounts and prize events.
Customers who pay with KB Pay can receive up to 58% off adult admission tickets at water parks nationwide.
At Caribbean Bay, customers who purchase an adult all-day ticket can receive up to 50% off for up to four people, including themselves, depending on the season, until October 12.
During Gold Season 1 (4th?17th, and August 18?24), a 50% discount is applied. During Gold Season 2 (18th?August 17), the discount is 45%. During High Season (July 1?3, and August 25?September 7), the discount is 46%. During Middle Season (September 8?October 12), the discount rate is 45%.
At Ocean World, customers can receive a 50% discount for up to two people, including themselves, on water park tickets (including both adult and child tickets) until July 31. Customers who book online in advance will also receive a free voucher for a life jacket, which can be redeemed onsite.
At California Beach, customers can receive up to 58% off for up to four people, including themselves, on adult tickets until August 31.
The discount rates vary depending on the season and operating hours. For all-day tickets on weekends during High Season (June 28?July 18, and August 18?31), the discount is 58%. During Gold Season 1 (July 19?25, and August 4?8), the discount is 57%. During Gold Season 2 (July 26?August 3, and August 9?17), the discount is 53%.
The "Scorching Heat~ Blow It Away with an Air Conditioner" event, which offers prizes to help beat the heat, will also run until July 31.
Customers who enter the event and use at least 3 million won with a KB Kookmin Card (excluding corporate, BC, and prepaid cards), with at least 500,000 won paid via KB Pay, will be entered into a drawing. Prizes will be awarded to a total of 555 people: one air conditioner, two dehumidifiers, two Dyson Cool fans, 50 portable fans, and 500 prizes of 10,000 won in KB Pay Money.
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Card announced that it is planning the "Exciting K-Vacance: Domestic Travel Full of Fun" event as part of the "K-Vacance" campaign, which aims to boost domestic tourism demand and revitalize local economies.
The event will be held on July 8 at Cheonggye Plaza in Jung-gu, Seoul. It is co-hosted by KB Financial Group, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Federation of SMEs, and the Korea Tourism Organization, and organized by the Federation of Korean Industries. Naver and Nol Universe are sponsors.
A KB Kookmin Card representative said, "We hope many people will participate in the upcoming Exciting K-Vacance: Domestic Travel Full of Fun event."
