On July 4, BC Card announced that it is holding a referral event for the BC Baro Insaeng Card, targeting members of its lifestyle finance platform 'Paybook'.

"Switch to BC Baro Card with a Friend and Get Annual Fee Waived"

The event will run until August 31. Any Paybook member who holds a BC Card is eligible to participate. The cards eligible for the event are the BC Baro MACAO Card and the BC Baro On&Off Card.

Participants can access the event page within the Paybook app, generate their 'personal referral link', and share it with friends, family, or acquaintances via KakaoTalk or by copying the internet address (URL). The process is completed when a friend applies for and receives a new card through the shared link.

The referrer will receive 50,000 Paybook Money for each new customer referred. This benefit applies only to customers who are applying for a BC Baro Card for the first time. The referred friend must spend at least 20,000 won with the card. A referrer can recommend up to five people during the event period, allowing them to earn up to 250,000 Paybook Money.

Friends or acquaintances who newly receive a BC Baro Card can also enjoy benefits. If they spend more than 20,000 won after card issuance, the entire annual fee for the first year will be refunded as cashback.

Kim Minkwon, Executive Director at BC Card, said, "We planned this event to promote the benefits of the BC Baro Card to a wider audience through natural referrals among customers, and to provide tangible rewards," adding, "We will continue to hold various events to ensure our customers experience differentiated benefits."
