Business Agreement Signed to Support the Domestic AI Startup Ecosystem
Coupang and Korea Startup Forum Join Forces to Foster AI Innovation
On July 4, Coupang announced that it had signed a business agreement with the Korea Startup Forum (KOSPO) to foster the domestic artificial intelligence (AI) startup ecosystem.

The signing ceremony was attended by Koo Taeun, Vice Chairman of KOSPO, Jeon Kyungsoo, Executive Vice President of Coupang, and other officials. The purpose of this agreement is to advance the domestic AI startup ecosystem. Key components include: joint cooperation in government projects to build the AI ecosystem; providing KOSPO member companies with priority discounts on Coupang Intelligent Cloud; and establishing support measures for joint research and related systems, software, and solutions.
Koo Taeun, Vice Chairman of KOSPO, stated, "This agreement is a meaningful first step to help domestic startups leading the future of AI technology grow more stably. I hope that this strategic alliance with Coupang will provide real momentum to the domestic AI startup ecosystem."
Kim Sunghan, CEO of Coupang Intelligent Cloud, said, "Through this strategic alliance with KOSPO, we will work to advance the domestic AI ecosystem and support the emergence of new tech unicorns and export-oriented companies that will lead the AI era."
Meanwhile, Coupang Intelligent Cloud is an AI computing service developed by Coupang. Last month, it participated in the Ministry of Science and ICT's project to strengthen the foundation for utilizing AI computing resources. Going forward, Coupang plans to actively cooperate in various government projects aimed at building the AI ecosystem.
