On July 4, Daewoo E&C announced that it would apply a 'private elevator' design if it wins the construction contract for the reconstruction of the Gaepo Woosung 7th Complex.
If there are four households on one floor, the company has secured an average of more than four elevators, a design typically used in high-end villas in areas such as Hannam-dong. For all units of 84 square meters or larger, the structure allows residents to use an exclusive elevator right in front of their entrance door. For larger units, the elevator halls on both the first basement and first ground floors have been separated so that each can be used exclusively by a single household. This reflects the recent trend of prioritizing privacy.
The company also plans to introduce 14 private-specialized programs in the residents' common areas. These include gardens with different concepts for each building that block external views, GDR rooms for individual use, saunas designed to minimize contact among residents, and one-person studios. The movie theater, PT and Pilates spaces, and parking areas will also be designed to minimize interference from others and allow for individual use.
