The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is holding an online job fair until the 18th to address labor shortages at root industry companies in the province and to expand employment opportunities for job seekers.
This fair is part of the "2025 Gyeonggi Regional Innovation Project" promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Gyeonggi-do, and it serves as the main program of the "Gyeonggi Specialized Ppurion(ON) Project."
The Ppurion(ON) Project provides extensive support, not only by connecting job seekers and employers online, but also by operating a permanent recruitment center, enhancing the recognition of root industry companies, spreading recruitment achievements, and offering post-hiring support such as mentoring for new employees.
More than 50 companies from five strategic root industry sectors in Gyeonggi-do?including welding, mold making, surface treatment, injection molding, pressing, and processing?are participating in the fair.
Starting from the 7th, the Job Foundation will offer various practical programs for job seekers, such as: live special lectures by master craftsmen in the root industry, hands-on technology experience programs, influencer-led job lectures, and one-on-one customized career consulting.
For participating companies, the foundation will provide practical recruitment support, including the development of job descriptions and access to its public headhunting services.
Son Ilkwon, Head of the Western Business Division at the Job Foundation, said, "We hope this fair will allow outstanding root industry companies to stably recruit suitable talent and provide job seekers with hands-on information and opportunities. We will continue to offer practical support to strengthen the employment foundation of the root industry in the province."
