On July 4, the Sejong City Sports Association for the Disabled announced that it has officially begun operating the Sejong Disabled Sports Center in Bangokdong, Sejong, after being entrusted with its management by the Facilities Management Corporation.

This center has a total floor area of 4,946 square meters and is equipped with a parking lot and swimming pool on the first floor; a multipurpose gymnasium, offices, and conference rooms on the second floor; and Pilates, a shooting range, a fitness center, a judo training hall, and a fencing training hall on the third floor. With the delegation of operations, the Sports Association for the Disabled reorganized its structure from the previous one-office, three-team system to a one-office, one-division, five-team system by newly establishing a Facilities Management Team and a Facilities Administration Team.

Lim Gyumo, Secretary General of the Sports Association for the Disabled, stated, "We plan to establish and operate a strategic sports facility system centered on the needs of each user," adding, "Through the reorganization of the facilities, we aim to provide a variety of sports programs for people with disabilities and build facilities that enhance user convenience, thereby increasing citizen satisfaction."
