Imsil Cheese Theme Park Rose Garden Event Plaza
Imsil County in North Jeolla Province will host the 'Aqua Festival' at the Rose Garden Event Plaza in Imsil Cheese Theme Park from July 26 to August 10.
According to the county on July 3, the Aqua Festival is the county's representative summer festival. This year, in celebration of the Year of Visiting Imsil, a variety of water play facilities have been prepared for visitors to enjoy.
The Aqua Festival, which is hugely popular every summer vacation season among family visitors, is set to once again offer a refreshing festival filled with a wide range of activities to help beat the heat.
The county has prepared a large pool, youth pool, slides, and other water play facilities that can be enjoyed by all age groups, and is making thorough preparations to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
In particular, this year, the county has expanded the comfortable rest areas by installing large shaded tents and air-conditioned shelters to prepare for the heat wave. In addition, a variety of rest spaces, including Mongolian tents, camping tents, and parasol shelters, will be provided, significantly enhancing convenience facilities so that visitors can enjoy themselves without worrying about the heat.
The hugely popular giant slide will also be installed. The massive system slide, which received a great response last year with a height of 10 meters and a length of 40 meters, will once again be set up on the event plaza stairs, offering visitors an exhilarating thrill and fun at the same time. In addition, special events such as children's DJ parties and dance performances will be held on weekends and holidays to further enhance the festival's enjoyment.
The festival will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is 8,000 won for the general public and 6,000 won for Imsil County residents. A 2,000 won discount is applied for entry after 2 p.m., and a voucher worth 2,000 won, which can be used on-site, will also be provided with the purchase of an admission ticket.
The county is doing its best to prepare so that visitors can enjoy a cool and special summer vacation, aiming to make Imsil a place full of fun throughout all four seasons.
County Governor Sim Min said, "As this year is the Year of Visiting Imsil, we have prepared the representative summer festival, the Aqua Festival, to be even richer and more fulfilling," adding, "I hope you will come to the Imsil Aqua Festival, filled with a variety of water play and activities, and create many unforgettable summer memories with your whole family."
