Park Sanghyuk, the chief spokesperson for the Democratic Party, stated in a written briefing after President Lee's press conference that "the press conference further heightened public expectations for the future of state affairs and the Republic of Korea," and expressed this view.

Spokesperson Park said, "The first month of the people's sovereignty government, which opened the path to normalizing the nation, has been a month that made us look forward to each day and further increased our sense of anticipation." He added, "It has been a month dedicated to the swift recovery of people's livelihoods, normalization of state affairs, restoration of normal diplomacy, and efforts to secure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula."

He continued, "Throughout, President Lee Jae Myung has demonstrated his determination, aspiration, and confidence to create a government of unity and to fulfill the state's responsibility to protect people's livelihoods and safety through constant communication with the public and the media."

He further stated, "The image of the president making eye contact with the people to communicate the government's philosophy and policy direction has confirmed to all citizens that the three years of arrogance, self-righteousness, and lack of communication have ended, and that a normal government has been established." He also pointed out, "Although we have raced through the past 30 days, many tasks remain, including restoring people's livelihoods, rebuilding a virtuous economic cycle, establishing a social safety net, pursuing pragmatic diplomacy centered on national interests, and reforming power institutions."

Additionally, he said, "We expect that President Lee will transform the great strength of the people, who have overcome the adversity of rebellion through a revolution of light, into the driving force for building a truly prosperous Republic of Korea for all." He added, "The Democratic Party will also do its utmost to align with the people's sovereignty government, create a National Assembly of communication and cooperation, and devote all efforts to normalizing the Republic of Korea."
