Kim appeared at the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office at around 9:46 a.m. on this day. He did not respond to reporters' questions, such as whether he had received any instructions from former President Yoon regarding the declaration of martial law or how he contacted Kang Uigu, former Presidential Secretary for Aides, and proceeded directly to the interrogation room.

Kim is known to have been involved in the drafting of post-cabinet meeting documents regarding martial law after the lifting of the 12·3 Martial Law.

The special prosecutor team is expected to question Kim, who closely assisted former President Yoon Sukyeol, about the process of declaring and lifting martial law, the circumstances under which the post-declaration statement was drafted and then discarded, and suspicions related to meetings at the presidential safe house.

On the same day, the special prosecutor team also summoned Kim Sunghoon, former Deputy Chief of the Presidential Security Service. Kim is accused of obstructing the execution of an arrest warrant for former President Yoon by the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials and others in January, and of deleting records of secure phone calls among key officials immediately after the martial law, under the direction of former President Yoon.
