Fasoo Unveils AI and Security Convergence Strategies... Accelerates Co-Growth

Fasoo held the 'FDI Summit 2025 (Fasoo Digital Intelligence Summit 2025)' on July 3. The company unveiled its AI and security convergence strategies to domestic IT and security industry stakeholders.

The FDI Summit is a seminar designed for Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) from major domestic enterprises and institutions, sharing the latest global IT and security trends, top priorities, and response strategies.

Under the theme 'How to Survive the AI Revolution: Data Infrastructure, Governance, and Security,' the event took place at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul. More than 50 CIOs and CISOs from leading domestic companies in finance, retail, IT, and manufacturing attended the event.

In the opening presentation, Fasoo CEO Cho Kyugon introduced AI and security convergence strategies to address the rapid proliferation of generative AI, the surge in cyber threats, and geopolitical conflicts. Emphasizing the importance of strengthening data infrastructure and establishing AI governance over excessive pre-investment in AI system infrastructure, CEO Cho highlighted the need to build guidelines for foundational processes.

As top priorities for countering cyber threats and geopolitical conflicts, he identified: ▲cybersecurity optimization, ▲CPS (Cyber-Physical System) security, and ▲supply chain risk management.

Regarding cybersecurity optimization, he pointed out that most companies worldwide use dozens of security solutions simultaneously, facing budget constraints and persistent security threats. To address these challenges, CEO Cho presented risk quantification, cybersecurity frameworks, and cybersecurity platforms, sharing practical examples of their application.

Kang Bongho, Head of Fasoo's Service Business Division, reviewed the main issues in the cybersecurity landscape of Korean companies in light of recent domestic cyber incidents, and revisited the fundamentals of building a secure environment. Kang emphasized, "It is realistically impossible to perfectly block ever-evolving cyber threats," but added, "Even simply strengthening employees' security awareness through repeated simulated training can significantly reduce the risk of hacking via email."

CEO Cho Kyugon stated, "It is not possible to perfectly defend against current security threats with just a few specific security solutions, which is why a phased, actionable integrated strategy based on a thorough security risk assessment of the current situation is essential." He added, "Fasoo, which has led the global data security and management market, is establishing itself as a partner to major domestic and international companies, leveraging its proprietary technology and proven references, from security to the rapidly growing AI market."
