Shinhan Card Launches "LG Electronics The Subscription Care Card" Offering Up to 20,000 Won Monthly Discount

Get an Extra 10,000 Points for Spending Over 70,000 Won per Month

Shinhan Card announced on the 3rd that it has launched the "LG Electronics The Subscription Care Shinhan Card" in collaboration with LG Electronics.

The card offers discounts to subscribers of LG Electronics' premium home appliances, such as Styler, StanbyMe, and STEM refrigerators, based on their spending in the previous month. Customers who spend between 300,000 won and less than 700,000 won receive a 13,000 won discount; those who spend between 700,000 won and less than 1,300,000 won receive a 16,000 won discount; and those who spend 1,300,000 won or more receive up to 20,000 won off.

Customers who spend 70,000 won or more per month on LG Electronics subscription services will receive an additional 10,000 My Shinhan Points. Depending on their previous month's spending, customers can receive up to 30,000 won in benefits each month.

The two companies will be running an event until the 31st. Customers who issue the card and sign up for automatic payment of LG Electronics subscription services during the event period will receive an additional 3,000 won discount for 72 months. This benefit applies only to the spending range between 300,000 won and less than 700,000 won in the previous month.

The annual fee is 22,000 won for domestic use only, and 25,000 won for international use (MasterCard). Detailed information about the card services and events can be found on the Shinhan Card website and the Shinhan SOL Pay app, as well as the LG Electronics website and LG Electronics app.

A Shinhan Card representative stated, "The newly launched LG Electronics subscription card was designed to provide a solution for customers to use LG Electronics premium products more reasonably, in line with the recent trend of seeking appliance subscription services without the burden of initial purchase costs," adding, "We will continue to offer differentiated products and services unique to Shinhan Card so that customers can experience real benefits."
